by The shopkeeper noticed our fascination with these wonderful little creatures and explained to us the art was called “dimensional needle felting” and the artist would be happy to teach us how to needle felt. The whole idea was totally foreign to both of us. My friend, Mary, wanted to learn. To me it looked much too detailed and therefore complicated for me to do. After much arguing back and forth about whether to take a class or not, I finally gave in to my friend. I said “Ok I will take the class with you. But trust me, once the class is done, I will be done, too.”
The day came…………we both took a class of 1 1/2 hours. When we were done………..I was totally hooked!
I truly felt I could NEVER create the awesome detail that was in these beautiful creations. Much to my surprise after some practice and doing a lot of research on Dimensional Needle Felting I found the “techniques” to accomplish the great detailed work in these awesome feltings.
With the proper techniques and practice, you just might surprise yourself, too. I have done the research on techniques and learned from some of the best in the Dimensional Needle Felting World. I can teach the techniques to you and you can do the practice. I suspect you will be in awe with each item you make just I am with every creation I make. And this all started 10 years ago………..2010 and I never cease to be amazed.
